New York’s Tuesday Labs has shown Voxel Series-1, a two-legged home robot with seven-degree-of-freedom arms and grippers. The company describes four jobs: putting things away, locating lost belongings, fetching objects and watering plants.

A reservation is not a purchase

For now, the offer is a refundable $200 US reservation. Tuesday Labs’ own agreement calls the machine shown a concept and development prototype; its appearance, components, features and specifications may all change before production.

The estimated $20,000 price is not binding. Deliveries are expected in 2028 or later and also depend on FCC equipment authorization. The interesting part is therefore less the promise of a robot butler than the clearly stated gap between a demonstration and a finished home appliance.
